Delete your Trades Made Easy account

This page covers Cleaning Business Made Easy and Landscaping Business Made Easy, made by Trades Made Easy. You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app, or by email. You do not need to contact support to do it.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Cleaning Business Made Easy or Landscaping Business Made Easy and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Your data.
  4. Tap Delete my account.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm and enter your password.
  6. Tap Delete everything for good.

Delete by email

Email support@tradesmadeeasy.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm and delete the account.

Export your data first

Deleting cannot be undone. To keep a copy first, go to Settings, then Your data, then Export my data. You get your clients, visits, quotes, invoices, payments, team and settings as spreadsheet files, plus your photos, in one zip. Export is free.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we delete your account and business, including your clients, visits, quotes, invoices, photos and notes. Your team and settings go with them, and everyone on your team is signed out for good.

What is kept and for how long

  • A record that the deletion happened is kept in our activity log. It has no name, email, business name or business id, so it cannot be used to identify you.
  • Billing and purchase records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
  • Support emails you sent us are kept for up to 13 months.
  • Your account and business data are deleted when you confirm and are gone within 30 days.

Delete some of your data

You can ask us to remove some data without deleting your account.

In the app today, you can edit a client from Clients, and you can edit or skip a visit from the visit page. There is no separate delete button for a client, a visit or a photo in the app. Photos stay with the visit as your record of the work.

To have specific clients, visits or photos removed, email support@tradesmadeeasy.com from your account email and say what you want removed. We will remove it within 30 days.
